By using Selfcarta, you agree to these terms. In short: you must be 18 or over, be kind, only ask to be rated yourself, never use results for employment decisions, and you get a 14-day refund on consumer purchases.
Who can use Selfcarta
You must be 18 or over. This includes people who rate others.
Acceptable use
- No harassment, threats or abuse.
- No rating anyone who did not invite you, and no attempts to identify raters.
- No use of results for hiring, firing, promotion or any other employment decision. Selfcarta has no candidate-screening feature, and this applies to Teams and Coach plans too.
- No attempts to break, scrape or overload the service.
We can close links, remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Selfcarta is for reflection. It is not medical, psychological or professional advice. See the science for what results can and cannot tell you.
Payments and refunds
Prices are in Australian dollars and include any GST that applies. Consumer products are one-off and never renew. You can get a refund within 14 days of a consumer purchase, no questions asked, from your account page. Teams and Coach plans are monthly subscriptions, and you can cancel them in the customer portal. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See pricing.
Your content
Your answers and guides are yours. You give us permission to process them to run the service, as set out in our privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, and subject to the guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions you or others make based on results.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of an Australian state, to be confirmed before launch.
Changes
We may update these terms, and we will tell you about material changes. If you disagree, you can delete your account at any time.
